Inspecting Responses

The middleware wraps the host response for application requests and persists the response body when a trace is active. JSON responses are parsed when the response content type includes application/json; other bodies remain captured text when available.

Inspect a response

Select a request and open its response details. Check status code, response headers, body, duration, and any error state. Response persistence failures are logged without preventing the host response from being sent.

Limitations

Capture depends on the response being handled through devtools.middleware and on a trace being active. Do not assume every streaming or non-text response can be represented as a useful dashboard body.
